</blockquote>

<p>His energy set the perfect tone for what quickly became more than a meeting—it was the birth of a movement.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Meet the Dream Team</h3>

<p>Next, Ambassador <strong>Prince Kojo Hilton</strong>, FCE’s founder and visionary executive producer, stepped forward, introducing a powerhouse delegation of Ghana’s behind-the-scenes masters:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Set Designer</strong> Ama Owusu, weaving Ghana’s landscapes into living art</li>

<li><strong>Cinematographer</strong> Michael Ocran, the light-whisperer of African skin tones</li>

<li><strong>SFX Maestro</strong> Rejoice Boateng, turning makeup into magic</li>

<li>(…and several more)—all united under the banner “Behind the Scenes | Beyond the Frame.”</li>
</ul>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Proposal Review &amp; NCC’s Enthusiasm</h3>

<p>With the NCC board leaning in, Mr. Ackuaku reaffirmed:</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">
<p>“Your proposal isn’t just another event—it echoes our cultural mandate to shine a light on Ghanaian artistry.”</p>
</blockquote>

<p>He pledged an official <strong>endorsement letter</strong> circuit to embassies and sponsors, promising FCE the visibility (and clout) to attract global partners.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Shared Vision: Culture, Commerce, Creativity</h3>

<p>Around the polished mahogany table, both teams riffed on a bold agenda:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Elevating African Film Craft</strong>—from SFX to set design</li>

<li><strong>Fueling the Creative Economy</strong>—turning artistry into livelihoods</li>

<li><strong>Building Learning Labs &amp; Trade Hubs</strong>—where students become seasoned pros</li>
</ul>

<p>Every idea sparked another, and what began as a discussion soon felt like a blueprint for Ghana’s next cultural renaissance.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Power Moves: NCC’s Support &amp; Joint Committee</h3>

<p>In rapid succession, the NCC vowed to:</p>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Endorse</strong> FilmCraft Expo to key cultural institutions</li>

<li><strong>Facilitate</strong> partnerships with museums, film schools, and broadcasters</li>

<li><strong>Co-chair</strong> a new <strong>Joint Working Committee</strong>—FCE + NCC + Black Star reps—to steer planning, marketing, and sustainability</li>
</ol>

<p>As Mr. Ackuaku hammered out timelines, it was clear: this was more than sponsorship; it was co-creation.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3af.png" alt="🎯" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Why This Partnership Matters</h2>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Official NCC backing</strong> gives legitimacy and opens doors to official channels</li>

<li><strong>Black Star Experience alignment</strong> merges cultural pride with cinematic storytelling</li>

<li><strong>Long-term joint committee</strong> ensures accountability, growth, and innovation</li>
</ul>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<ul class="wp-block-list">

<li>Form the joint steering committee</li>

<p>From <strong>September 27–29, 2024</strong>, the <strong>National Theatre of Ghana</strong> buzzed with innovation, as the <strong>FilmCraft Expo (FCE) 2024</strong> unpacked its theme,</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">
<p>“The Future of Cinematic &amp; Theatre Technology: Impact and Prospects for Africa.”</p>
</blockquote>

<p>Here’s how we turned ideas into action and charted a thrilling path forward:</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f31f.png" alt="🌟" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Industry Titans Take the Stage</h3>

<p>We opened with powerhouse keynotes from:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Dr. Jim Awindor</strong> – Visionary Theatre Technologist</li>

<li><strong>Rabby Bray</strong> – Interactive Media Innovator</li>

<li><strong>Alex King Nartey</strong> – Virtual Production Pioneer</li>
</ul>

<p>Their insights bridged tradition and tomorrow, sparking debates on AR/VR set design, AI-driven editing, and smart-stage automation.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3ac.png" alt="🎬" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Growth Beyond Borders</h3>

<p><strong>Ambassador Prince Kojo-Hilton</strong>, FCE Founder &amp; Executive Producer, revealed big ambitions:</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">
<p>“We’re building a truly global platform—next stop: Canada, Europe, and beyond. Africa’s creative heartbeat deserves a worldwide stage.”</p>
</blockquote>

<p>He thanked our partners—the <strong>National Theatre</strong> and <strong>National Film Authority</strong>—for unwavering support in making FCE 2024 a reality.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f527.png" alt="🔧" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Hands-On Mastery &amp; Showcases</h3>

<p>Participants immersed themselves in:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Interactive Masterclasses</strong> (set building, LED volumes, XR backdrops)</li>

<li><strong>Tech Exhibitions</strong> (real-time motion capture, drone cinematography)</li>

<li><strong>Live Demos</strong> (SFX makeup tutorials, on-set lighting labs)</li>

<li><strong>Roundtables</strong> (festival strategies, distribution hacks)</li>

<li><strong>Pitch Sessions</strong> (investment-ready short projects)</li>
</ul>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3a8.png" alt="🎨" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Spotlight on Craft Heroes</h3>

<p>Our demo floor lit up with extraordinary talents:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Kwesi Haford</strong> – AR/VR Set &amp; Poster Designer</li>

<li><strong>Gifty Mawuena Sossavi</strong> – Costume &amp; Wardrobe Innovator</li>

<li><strong>Philip Boateng Benneh</strong> – VFX &amp; 3D Animation Specialist</li>

<li><strong>Saint Hanania Tetteh</strong> – Miniature Model Maker</li>

<li><strong>Josaih Cofie</strong> – Key Grip Extraordinaire<br>…plus sound guru <strong>James Adofo</strong>, who electrified us with a deep dive into film audio—from on-set recording to immersive mixing.</li>
</ul>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f310.png" alt="🌐" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> FCE: More Than a Festival</h3>

<p>Unlike traditional film fests, <strong>FilmCraft Expo</strong> pulls back the curtain on every stage of production. We’re an <strong>educational nexus</strong>—where students, pros, and visionaries exchange skills, tools, and stories.</p>

<p><strong>VISION:</strong> A global creative community where African and international filmmakers collaborate, learn, and push boundaries.<br><strong>MISSION:</strong> To showcase the art &amp; science of filmcraft, spark innovation, and equip participants with the tools to thrive in today’s media ecosystem.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f3c5.png" alt="🏅" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Honoring Our Champions</h3>

<p>A <strong>Citation of Honour</strong> went to <strong>George Bosompim</strong> and <strong>Dr. Johnson Edu</strong>, our earliest believers, for their steadfast encouragement:</p>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow">
<p>“Your faith in our vision has fueled every step of this journey. Thank you for championing a vibrant future for African cinema.”</p>
</blockquote>

<p>James Adofo’s session on <strong>film sound design</strong> was a particular highlight—demonstrating how a single foley effect or mix tweak can elevate narrative power and emotional depth.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f680.png" alt="🚀" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> What’s Next?</h3>
